FAQ’s
What happens at my first visit?
Your Chiropractor will listen as you describe your problem. You will then generally undergo a detailed examination including orthopaedic and neurological testing. X-rays may be taken where necessary. Your Chiropractor will then outline a treatment plan appropriate to your condition.
Is chiropractic safe?
Yes. Our Chiropractors are primary contact healthcare professionals and as such your safety is our primary concern. In common with medical practitioners and dentists, all chiropractors are registered by law under the Chiropractor s Act 1994 and the title ‘Chiropractor ‘ is protected under this legislation. The profession is statutorily regulated through the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and it is illegal to practice as a Chiropractor without being registered with the GCC. It takes a minimum of four years full time education to qualify as a Chiropractor.
Is chiropractic just for lower back pain?
NO! Research has shown that Chiropractic care is beneficial to those suffering with:

Back and Neck pain
Headaches and Migraines,
Whiplash
Dizziness
Shoulder, Elbow and Wrist pain
Frozen shoulder
Tennis elbow
Knee, Hip, Ankle and Foot pain
Hip and Knee arthritis
Plantar fasciatis
Sports injuries
A variety of muscle injuries and conditions

Is chiropractic treatment safe after surgery?
Chiropractic is remarkably safe when treatment is carried out by a properly qualified practitioner. Your Chiropractor is trained to recognise conditions which require referral elsewhere, and after assessing individual circumstances can treat you even after surgery.
